Seth Castell is an award winning, self-taught, photographer, best selling author and clearly a great swimmer. In 2012, Seth took the internet by storm with his series of photographs depicting dogs diving into pools which led to him picking up a book deal with Little, Brown and Company who produced Underwater Dogs which has more than half a million copies in print around the world!
Seth is a keen dog lover and started his career in 2007 when he started volunteering to photograph homeless pets in a bid to find them a loving new family.
We owe a big thanks to Buster, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who didn’t want to stay dry during one of his photo-shoots and instead proceeded to jump in and out of the swimming pool. Because if it wasn’t for him, Seth may not have had the idea to find out what this pooch looked like underwater.
