Every year, students from the Musashino Art University (based in Tokyo, Japan) head out to Kamizeki Lagoon Park (that’s in Niigata City, Japan if you know it) and build some amazing sculptures made from straw.
Each year, since 2008, the students will design and build frames ready to be covered in straw. They’ve created sculptures ranging from gorillas to dinosaurs.
If you’re wanting to visit these ‘strawesome’ works of art, then you’ve got until November 1st, 2015 before they’re removed.
