Artist Pierre-Adrien Sollier repaints famous artworks with Playmobil figures.
Covering a huge range of artists’ work, from de Vinci to Dali, the dramatic images recreate a range of paintings from The Mona Lisa to The Last Supper.
Sometimes the best artwork is where old meets new, and these striking images which show often classic images merged with an iconic ’70s kids’ toy are the perfect example of how the traditional can be refreshed for a new era.
Playmobil figures or ‘klickys’ are easily recognisable by their size (7.5cm), cup-shaped hands, simple, smiling expression and hairdos.
