Dear Deer – Nina Cosford
Date: Thursday 23rd April
Event Title: Dear Deer
Hosted by: Nina Cosford
Event Description: Nina Cosford has a mild obsession with deer figurines and has a growing collection. This obsession will be combined with a workshop by making greeting cards for your nearest and dearest (pun intended!).
Using the figurines as still life inspiration, each participant is given a pre-cut card (different edging options will be available) an envelope, and are then encouraged to illustrate – in whichever way they like – the card for someone special (has to be deer- related one way or another). Nina will be on hand to provide support and top tips!
Once finished, they can pop their sealed envelope into a special postbox and we’ll send it off to the addressee for free!
How to take part: The workshop will be running throughout the day (start times will be advertised on our blackboard) and will be open for everyone on a first come, first served basis.
Animal Bunting – Gemma Correll
Date: Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April
Event Title: Animal Bunting
Hosted by: Gemma Correll
Event Description: Learn how to draw animals (yes even pugs and cats!) with world famous pug drawer Gemma Correll. Then happily display your work by adding it to our group bunting exhibition!
This is a fantastic chance to meet Gemma and learn how she draws her own animals and then have a go yourself!
How to take part: The workshop will be running throughout the day (start times will be advertised on our blackboard) and will be open for everyone on a first come, first served basis.
