Othman Toma’s Ice Cream Paintings

By / Sep 14th, 2014 / , , / No comments

From a whimsical painting using a Twister, and featuring its trademark red and green colours, to a tiger painted entirely using a Magnum, these unusual paintings show ice cream being used as paint.

Bagdad-based artist Othman Toma has made these striking watercolour-esque paintings using melted ice creams and lollies, and although a few people have called into question their authenticity, we can’t help but think the idea that art isn’t just limited to the usual tools is pretty damn cool.

Bored on the beach? Sitting in the sun? Why not try out this tasty art form for yourself!
