Bloomingdale‘s 2015 Spring collection is bang on trend, with crayons adding colour and a dose of nostalgia to the designs. From crayons dangling around the neckline of a dress to Crayola making up the hem of a skirt, these beautiful designs are perfect for illustrators who want to wear their craft with pride. And if you’re particularly inspired by this playful fashion line you can even view the pieces at the Bloomingdale‘s on 59th Street in New York

From Jungle Green by Parker to Midnight Blue by Rebecca Taylor, these beautiful youthful dresses and shirts will draw attention to the wearer in even the most crowded of rooms. Other designers throwing in their two cents include Nanette Lepore, Clover Canyon, Rebecca Minkoff and Ronny KoboTo top it all off, the wonderful, clean photography of this whimsical collection is by the rather marvellous Matthew Carasella.

These waxy fabrics make for pretty unusual garments, and the pieces have a sort of otherwordly quality. With the 3D texture of the crayons only adding to the creativity of the designs. This collection is the ultimate reminder that fashion is a little like playtime for adults.
