I love the sense of light and shade in these wonderful book illustrations courtesy of Lavanya Naidu. The colour choice and limited pallet set the scene well, you can almost feel the warmth in the hillsides of India.

You can Find them in Ruskin Bond’s ‘A long walk for Bina’ , a lovely story centering on three children and their daily commute to school through the rivers, jungles and hillsides of India forging friendships and having plenty of adventures on the way.
