It feels odd to feature another aerial photographer so close to our last, but whilst the method remains the same, the content is markedly different. Where our ‘Beaches‘ feature focused on pops of colour, created by humans, these wonderful photos of the Blue Salt Fields in Australia are largely devoid of any life. Huge patchwork Salt Fields framed by weathered roads and walkways create a truly textural photograph that has more in common with an abstract oil painting than a traditional photo.
With our bright blue summer over before it began, having a look through Simon’s photography portfolio would be a great way to keep a bit of colour in your life.
